Single-Seat Can-Am cars

The most successful cars over the ten seasons of Single-Seat Can-Am are shown below. The Frissbee, Spyder, Prophet and Schkee were, like the Lola T332, T332CS and T333CS, based on the 1973 Formula 5000 Lola T330 design, so 44 wins fell to that base design.

Patrick Tambay won the 1980 championship in Carl Haas' Lola T530. Ten T530s were built for the 1980 season but only nine raced, the tenth becoming VDS-001.
