Full name Alfred. Based in Pennsylvania his entire life, he often did well in local races. Later worked in the shipbuilding industry. Aspen was very much an oval specialist, appearing in board and dirt ovals mostly. Aspen attempted 14 AAA events, with a best finish of seventh at Syracuse in 1931. Aspen also competed as a riding mechanic in the mid-1920's before becoming a driver in his own right.
