Now works as a TV presenter and commentator. Also works as a businessman and as a young driver coach and scout and has involvement in driver development for Asian drivers for a few Formula 1 teams. He has also appeared in A1 GP, LMS, GP2 Asia and Asian Speedcars the Audi R8 LMS Cup and the Porsche Carrera Cup's Asian Series. He first won the title in the former in 2014 and in 2018, took his third title. As well as this, Yoong is heavily involved in e-racing and sim racing organisation. Alex also enjoys waterskiing.
