Was Renault's F1 test and reserve driver, but was dropped. Returned to sportscars in 2004, for Audi, in the LMES and major endurance races, winning his 1st race back, at Sebring. Now in ALMS, the WEC and touring cars and took his second Sebring win in 2006. He followed that up with an ALMS title in the same year, then retained his title in 2007. Won Le Mans in 2008 and a 3rd Sebring win in 2009.
