A very popular driver who came second in the 1997 Le Mans. He had a very successful career in Japan, with multiple touring car titles to his credit - 1989 and 1991 in Japan - as well as the 1990 sportscar title in Japan. Also won the 1991 Spa 24 Hours. He had the chance of Formula 1 with Ensign, but turned it down as he was getting married on the same weekend! Later became a team boss in touring cars before his early, sudden and very sad death, aged only 55. Anders was also the 1977 and 1978 Swedish Formula 3 champion.
