One of the very best sportscar drivers of his era, he moved into Touring Cars and proved nigh unbeatable in this series as well! Retired in 2008, but will remain with Mercedes as a consultant and an ambassador. From 2011, he has made a couple of brief one-off appearances in endurance events.
