Talented privateer who sadly died in hospital after a testing accident at Silverstone. Anderson started his racing in motorcycling, before moving into racing relatively late, in 1961. He started in Formula Junior, before becoming one of the more successful and talented privateers, winning the Rome Grand Prix of 1963 and generally punching above his weight in Grand Prix racing.
