Varied racer, who also appeared in the Indy Racing League. Currently living in Glendora, California. No longer involved in racing and runs a trucking company, and still drives his own trucks. Brutto enjoyed a longer and more competitive racing career in sprint cars, becoming a regular in the early-to-mid 1980's. He also had a few attempts at supermodified racing. Brutto remains interested in the sport, following Formula 1 as well as racing in the US, but also enjoys playing golf and shooting.
