Sprint car ace who was entered into the field's Hall of Fame in 2004. At the time of his death, he was at his peak, both on track and in land-speed record attempts. Initially started in motorcycling before taking up racing in 1927. He won a number of state championships during his career and also won the 1932 Eastern AAA Championship. Bryan also jointly ran a service station for the Gilmore Oil Company in Hayward, California.
