Reliable lower formulae racer whose Formula 1 spell was a disaster. Went on to race in touring cars quite successfully. Later became a businessman, based either near his home in Brescia, or in England, and now more recently in Switzerland. Currently chairman of the Global Natural Resources Holding Ltd and has been involved in many family based business projects since the early 1990's as well as being involved in the mobile phone industry.
