Still alive, living in Prince George, British Columbia. Started his career in Canada, before a long spell in America, in NASCAR and CART - the latter of which he ran his own team. Sadly now confined to a wheelchair after a road accident, but is still upbeat and busy, owns and works on his farm and stays linked to the sport through visits of historic events and advises local sprint car drivers.
