Switched to GT cars and sportscars with great success, winning the FIA GT NGT Class championship in 2001. David then became manager of a kart autodrome in Dubai, where he has been a citizen for some while. Also works as a kart instructor, and was also involved in FFSA administration. However, he also raced in the Asian Speedcar series in 2007/08 and 2008/09 and for a while raced inthe Dubai 24 Hours. A very modest, technically adept driver, David never really had the budget to take his single-seater career much further. David is now a businessman and runs GGI Entertainment, which although linked to karting and drifting, has other interests in the leisure industry, including laser tag arenas. They are based in both Dubai, Abu Dhabi (he runs a driver academy there), Fuhairah and even Bahrain, where he runs an International kart circuit.
