A regular road course entrant from 1909 onwards, who did well at Portland, Lowell and Savannah, Parker finished second in his FIAT in the 1909 Vanderbilt Cup race. He also competed in endurance events, including the famed Brighton Beach endurance race. Parker was a member of the FIAT team and worked as a test driver for the company in their Poughkeepsie manufacturing base. More steady than fast, he was highly thought of by FIAT, where he worked for many years. Often listed as being from New York City.
