Based in California and Indiana for racing, but a Missouri resident for most of his life, he raced, with little success, in the early years of the 1910's. His main work was as a taxi driver in Clay County, Missouri. He died of a sudden heart-attack. His Indy experience in 1911, where he relieved Ralph Beardsley, was his only oval attempt as he specialised in road course racing, competing at the Santa Monica and Fresno road races whilst based in California. After serving in World War 1, it appears Frank moved back to Missouri and did not continue racing.
