1980 and 1981 German Formula 3 champion, who is far better known for his sportscar success - winning both the World Sportscar Championship and at Daytona (in 1991). Also raced in the DTM, before retiring full-time in 1992, although he has driven since then in selected one-offs. Now only drives in historics.
