Raced in a number of events in 1927, without much success and also appeared on occasion as a relief driver. He by and large raced a Miller, an ex-Leon Duray and Eddie Hearne driven car, entered by his father. Racing seems to have been a brief past-time and he later worked as a garage owner and as a travelling salesman of wholesale goods.
