Also credited as Gino Bollinger. Bolliger spend most of his career in sportscars, racing between 1982 to 1985 and proved to be a remarkably consistent and mechanically sympathetic driver, finishing all of his major races. Bollinger drove for Sauber, Tiga and March but his greatest achievement was in a Wittwer, winning at Magny-Cours in 1985. Got his F2 chance with Pedrazza Motorsport after doing reasonably in Interserie racing with the team. Very much a gentleman driver, he was nearly fifty years of age upon making his Formula 2 debut and paid for his drive through his business career, working as an entrepreneur in various industries.
