Successful female racer, who raced in Formula Vee, Formula 3 and Formula 2. Later married Gunther Hennerici, and was involved in the Eifelland concern. Later worked as a dental technician and now also owns a restaurant. Werner started racing when she was eighteen, racing in a series for DKW cars, which is what she drove almost exclusively at the beginning of her career. Hannelore established herself during the early-to-mid 1960's in touring cars, often competing in long-distance endurance saloon events. She moved over to single-seaters in 1966, competing in Formula Vee, but until she retired in the early 1970's to start a family, she also tried sportscars and rallying on top of her frequent touring car appearances.
