Has kept links with the sport, and until recently, was very much involved with the sport as his son, Riccardo, raced in lower formulae, and Harald was his manager and coach. Now concentrating on his business projects, which including running an general liability and savings insurance firm for both the Stuttgart and wider area. As a driver, Harald raced in a variety of series including Interserie, Formula Vee and then for a long time in Formula 3. He ended his career in a Porsche saloon car championship in the late 1980's.
