Fast becoming an all-time legend. Now a four times winner of the Indy 500 (winning his fourth '500 in 2021, aged forty-six), he raced for over two decades in the Indycar series with Penske, although 2009 saw his season disrupted as he fought tax evasion claims. In 2018, although he continued racing the Indianapolis 500, Helio moved to the US Sportscar Series full-time and remains doing both again in 2024, but he will also work as an ambassador for Meyer Shank, as well as becoming a part-owner. Castroneves also won the 2007 Dancing with the Stars TV dance show! Helio moved through the South American lower formulae ranks before moving to British Formula 3, but only ever won once, at Donington Park in 1995. He moved to the US, and Indy Lights in 1996 and has remained Stateside ever since, graduating to CART in 1998.
