One of the more obscurer CART racers, Hill got his brief chance via sponsorship from his parent's Coca-Cola bottling plant. Still linked with the sport via historic festivals. Hill predominantly raced in SCCA Sports 2000 cars, making his debut in 1988, before going on to win the SCCA Central Division title later that year. He followed that up with 2nd in the Pro S2000 series in 1989 and 1990, and also raced in Formula Atlantic and sportscars before his brief spell in CART.
