Mostly in sportscars since F1 - won Sebring in 2002. He then took on another role, as Midland's sporting relations manager, dealing with sponsorship and drivers. When Midland became Spyker, Herbert was not retained and returned to full-time driving again, including Speedcars, ALMS, Le Mans and other sportscar events. In 2009, he appeared in the BTCC and then became Caterham F1's commercial and sponsorship manager.
