After Formula 3000, Brack moved to America to race in the IRL, winning the title in 1998. Moved to Champ Cars in 2000 with Rahal but went back to the IRL, where, in 2003, he suffered a huge crash, in which he was lucky to live. He made a full but slow recovery, with only one-off drives, but one of these, was a very welcome return to Indianapolis in 2005. Kenny then made the decision to quit racing after that, and initially moved to Belgium. He now lives in England, where he wrote music with his band Brack. He now is involved in a driver academy, works with McLaren as a test and development driver for their sportscars and worked closely for some years with Marcus Ericsson. In 2009, he won a gold medal at the X Games in the rally event. Continues to compete in rallies, and more recently, and very successfully, historic racing.
