Touring car legend. Champion in France, Germany and Britain and Le Mans winner in 1998 to boot. Suprisingly retired early in 2005 for a 'different way of life'. Laurent now works as a property trader, but likes to jet-ski when he has the chance. He now lives in Bordeaux. Aiello also appears at a few historic events and in 2014, took up an invitation to race at a French Porsche Carrera Cup race at Le Mans, which wanted to celebrate Laurent's 1998 success by re-uniting both the driver and engineers 16 years on. Laurent greatly enjoyed himself by coming 4th and may do special one-offs again in the future.
