Now racing in Formula E after a few years of dovetailing this with a drive in the World Endurance Championship. He was Pirelli test driver after making Formula 1 with the Virgin GP team. Spent a long time in GP2, becoming one of the best drivers in the series. He is also now a co-owner of a GP3 team and was also development driver, advisor and publicity agent for the new Formula E series- for electric racing cars - before unsurprisingly, stepping up to a race seat at the start of the series in 2014. He remains there for the 2023/2024 season and won the title in 2016/2017. Di Grassi is also the CEO of Roborace, which, in short, is a series for racing cars with no drivers at the wheel and autonomous vehicles.
