Gloriously obscure F3000 backmarker of whom very little is known. As Simon Arron, the motoring journalist who specialised in F3000 put it, Waltner turned up having competed in about two F3 races and little more, covered from top to toe in tattoos, and considering his background, unsurprisingly failed to qualify, and was never seen again.
