A legend in CART, he drove in the series before and after his unhappy F1 sojourn. Now runs his own IRL team, which runs his son Marco. Michael also made a racing return for the 1st time in 3 years in the 2006 Indy 500. After the 2007 event, he retired from driving for good. Used to run an ALMS team.
