A former British F3 champion, Mike raced for a while in GP2, before moving to America and the Indycar series. However, his 2010 season was disrupted by a huge accident in the Indianapolis 500, in which he was lucky to survive. However he received multiple injuries and didn't return to action until 2011, back in Indycar. He remained for a while in the series, despite no longer driving at ovals because of his 2010 crash. However Mike is now racing in the World Endurance Championship and the American Sports Car Championship and also appears in historic racing. In 2021, Mike finally won Le Mans after many years of coming close.
