Mike competed in the 1984 and 1985 Bosch Super Formula Vee US Championship, proving more than adept as he won at Indianapolis in 1985, which was the supporting race to the Carb Night Classic, one day before the Indianapolis 500, finishing ahead of the likes of Jeff Andretti, Mike Groff and David Kudrave. Mike has had a long career overall; he started racing in Super Vee in 1980, and stopped racing in the series in 1988. After a long break, he returned to racing in 2004, racing supermodified cars, which he carried on until 2012, often appearing at Oswego Speedway. Mike now lives in Canada, in Cambridge, Ontario. Mike was also based in Michigan City, Indiana.
