Better known for their land speed record attempts, the Nish family have also had varied careers in other fields. Mike, ran the Servi-Tech firm, a machinery parts supplier to the beverage industry, especially cans and bottles. Nish joined the family firm in 1991. Mike and his father Terry and his two brothers broke over 10 World Land Speed records and Mike himself won the 2007 Hot Rod Trophy for his efforts at the Bonneville Salt Flats meeting. Mike travelled at over 420 mph in the past. He died, just after his 63rd birthday, in 2022.
