Killed in qualifying for the Indianapolis 500. From Welsh stock, Milton was also based in Cleveland, Ohio. Ran a garage business before becoming a racing driver. At his death, Milton had been racing for some twenty years, initially racing motorcycles before progressing to four wheels. His wife, Cora, also raced motorcycles alongside Milton in Cleveland for some while. Milton was also a car owner, and he owned the car driven by Lora Corum at the 1930 Indianapolis 500. Jones also worked at the Prospect Auto Top and Painting Company as well as building his own racing cars.
