Was a F1 test and reserve driver, and so appeared a few times for Toyota as a super sub. Later continued that role with Renault, but started to drive away from F1, in Brazillian touring cars. In 2008, he moved into Grand-Am, whilst also racing in his homeland's touring cars again and continues in both in 2013.
