Son of ex-F5000 racer, Tony, Richard has had a varied career since F3000. Raced in Japan for a few years before winning the British Rover Turbo Cup Series in 1996. Later moved into endurance and historic racing, both of which he is still competing in. He is also the boss of the Ginetta-Zytek endurance team and a few British Club racing sportscar teams.
