Member of the hugely successful Italian firm, Rocco himself now runs an investment company in New York and an Italian internet search engine company, amongst many other business interests. Benetton was a graduate of mechanical engineering who based himself in the US to learn, before staying there to work. Initially Rocco became a hedge fund manager for a New York-based investment firm. In more recent years, Rocco has been nearer the family base in Treviso. Rocco is the son of Luciano Benetton, the eldest of the four brothers who founded and established the family clothing business.
