Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

United States

Formed the successful racing school and series, now called the Barber Dodge Pro Series. No longer involved with the school (indeed the school is no longer going; it went bankrupt in 2017) and Skip is now a part-owner of the Lime Rock racing circuit. The school, however, will always remain Barber's legacy, and with graduates like Michael Andretti, Helio Castroneves and Jeff Gordon amongst others, directly or indirectly, he's had a lot of influence on North American racing. As a driver himself, Barber's forte was probably in sportscars in the SCCA road racing events.
