Former karter and ice-racer whose funds allowed him a crack at Formula 3000. Since 2001, he hasn't been in motor-racing when funds were removed, and now works as a yacht designer. Maslov came through Formula 3 in his homeland before switching to the Italian Formula 3 championship in 1998. Despite less than stellar results, he moved up to both Italian and International Formula 3000 in 1999, as well as appearing in the Sports Racing World Cup. He continued in Formula 3000 for two more years, finishing in a best position of 10th twice in 2001.
