One of the greatest names in motor racing engineering, who, along with Mike Costin, was behind the Cosworth engine. Started as a gearbox engineer at Lotus, before developing the Cosworth enginer which kept seeing massive success for decades. He remained the nominal head of the company all his life, but sadly suffered from ill-health from quite some while. Also liked flying when he could.
