  3. Lola T142 [SL142/36] (Keith Holland): New to Alan Fraser for Keith Holland to drive in British F5000 in 1969 and 1970, and by Ray Calcutt when Holland left the team. Then via Harry Linney and Bob Miller to John Bowtell (Witney, Oxfordshire) who raced it in late 1971 and early 1972, entered by Andrew Cavell. Raced at Silverstone in April by Martin Ridehalgh, and by Bowtell again later in the year. To Richard Brown (Chieveley, Berkshire) for hillclimbs in 1973, then to Bob de la Haye for 1974 and 1975. Then unknown until acquired by John Peskett (Leicester) in 1978. Unused and stored until the car was featured on TV program 'Salvage Squad' broadcast in March 2002. Again unknown until advertised by Marcel Roks (Belgium) 2005 (blue with white stripe, #39). To Will Tomkins (Peterborough, Cambridgeshire) 2005 - Roger Deans (Baldock, Herts) 2006 and debuted at Shelsley Walsh in September 2006. See full history: Lola T142 SL142/36.

  6. Lola T60 [SL60/5] (Steve Thompson): New to Frank Lythgoe for F3 in 1966, and raced for him by Mike Beckwith. Sold in June 1966 to Steve Thompson (Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire), and raced in F3 and libre in 1966 and 1967. Then fitted with a 1.6-litre Ford twin-cam, and hugely successful in libre racing in 1968 and 1969. Also appeared in the F2 class at 1969 F5000 races. Retained briefly for 1970, until Thompson's new Chevron B17c was ready, and then sold to Chris Featherstone (Maidstone, Kent) to replace his original T60 after it was wrecked at Mallory Park in October 1970. Fitted with a 1500cc pushrod Ford engine, and raced by Featherstone in Monoposto in 1971 and 1972. For 1973, the car went to Vic Nutter (Billingshurst, West Sussex), by which time it had Ensign bodywork and a Hewland Mk 7 six-speed gearbox, and was raced by him in Monoposto a few times each year in 1973, 1974 and 1975. Nutter then returned to Kenya, and the Lola remained in storage in England until 1981 or 1982, when it was sold to John Fenning who restored it to original F2 specification. Later sold by Fenning to Peter Denty (Thetford, Norfolk) some time before 2003.
  7. Chevron B10 [F2.2] (Graham Eden): The second Chevron B10 was completed in July 1968 and raced by Bennett himself at a libre race before being sold to Mike MacDowel and Bob Jennings in August for hillclimbs. They ran it until the end of the season but then bought a new Brabham BT30X and the Chevron was sold to Graham Eden who first used an oversized Ford twin-cam and then returned the car to FVA specification. It was upgraded to B17 specification for 1970 and at the end of that season passed to Bill Creasey and then on to Bob Ellice for the 1971 season. Ellice ran it in the new Formula Atlantic series with a twin-cam engine, entered by John Deuxberry. Then to the US and used in FB by Mike Hickey (Portland, OR) from May 1972. To Richard Shepard (San Francisco, CA) January 1974 and converted to FC with an 1100cc Holbay-Cosworth engine. Later sold to Monte Shelton (Portland, OR), then from Shelton to Tom Black (Portland, OR) who acquired a new body and other parts from Ed Swart (all this around 1990) and sold it all to Gerry Kingen (Seattle, WA) in 1991. Restored for Kingen by Mike Gent for display in one of Kingen's restaurants. Sold by him to Ernie Spada Jr (Lake Oswego, OR) some time in the mid to late 1990s and restored again by Gent to running Formula B specification. To Jim Catchot (Rancho Murieta, CA) January 2014.
  8. Lola T55 [SL64/1] (Tony Charnell): New to Midland Racing Partnership for Bill Bradley to drive in F2 in 1964. Driven later in the season for MRP by Richie Ginther, Tony Maggs and Dickie Attwood, the latter finishing second at Albi in September. Retained by MRP for 1965 and raced by, amongst others, Chris Amon and Paul Hawkins. Sold to Bill Jones for Phillip Robinson to drive in F2 and in libre in 1966. Then to Tony Charnell (Dumfries, Scotland) for 1967 and fitted with a 1.6-litre Ford twin-cam for libre racing, mainly at Ingliston but sometimes venturing south to Croft and even Silverstone. Retained for 1968 and 1969 and then sold to Iain McLaren (Broxburn, Scotland) for Scottish sprints and hillclimbs. Then to Ted Dzierzek (Edinburgh, Scotland) for Scottish hill climbs in 1971, still with its twin cam engine. Subsequent history unknown but possibly the T55 twin cam hillclimbed by Peter Stahl (Ascot, Berkshire) in 1972.
  9. Cooper T66 [F1-2-63] (Mike Coombe): New to Rob Walker and entered for Jo Bonnier in F1 in 1963, replacing an older ex-works T60. Retained for 1964 but soon replaced by a Brabham BT11 and used as a spare car with a BRM V8 engine, Its engine and gearbox were then transferred to Walker's ex-works Brabham BT7 and the car was sold to Bill Bradley and then on the John Axon. It was fitted with a 4727cc Ford Cobra V8 and raced in libre very successfully in 1965 and 1966, interrupted only by a heavy accident at Oulton Park in 1965. Sold to Jim Charnock (Liverpool) for 1967 and raced regularly in libre for another two seasons. To John Scott Davies briefly in early 1969 then to Mike Coombe and John Dean who shared it in F5000 and libre in 1969. Sold to Alan Mountain who entered it in libre and hillclimb events for John Lambert (York) in 1971. The engine was transferred into a Leda F5000 chassis and the rest of the car was sold to collector John McCartney. Subsequently via Jim Gleave, Howden Ganley, Hugh Edgely, Peter Bloore, Rod Tolhurst and John Harper to Anthony Mayman in early 1986. Then to Sid Hoole in 1992 and fully restored. Raced in historic events by Hoole for over 20 years.
  10. Brabham BT21 [33] (John Millar): New to Sports Motors (Manchester) for Peter Gethin to race in European F3 in 1967. Then to Frank Lythgoe and fitted with a 2-litre BMW engine for Peter Gethin to race at the 1968 race of Champions. Then to John Miller in Scotland and used in libre racing over the next three seasons, including two appearances in the 1969 Formula 5000 series. Sold to Alasdair Pearson car 1972, and run in the Burmah-Castrol Scottish Hill Climb Championship. Advertised in October 1972 from a Glasgow number as a BT21/23C with an Alan Smith BMW engine and a comment that it had only been used in hilclimbs and sprints that season. To Paul Maxwell for Monoposto from 1973 onwards.
  11. Brabham BT21A [2] (Jim Charnock): New to Sir Nick Williamson and fitted with a 1600cc Cosworth Ford twin cam for the 1967 British Hill Climb Championship. To Stockbridge Racing early 1968 and driven by John Fenning in libre and by Howard Bennett in hillclimbs. To Robin Darlington (Overton-on-Dee, Wales) August 1968 and raced in libre (also driven by Tony Lanfranchi). To Jim Charnock (Liverpool) for 1969 - John Wingfield November 1971 and raced in libre by him through 1972 and by his mechanic John Somers in a couple of Silverstone libre races later on in 1972. Then to Steve Malins 1973 - Harvey Hodgson (Blackpool) 1975 - Roger Murray (Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria) June 1987 - Graham North 1990 or 1991 - Stephan Foster - Roger Bevan (High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire) 2005 or 2006 - Barry Goodyear late spring 2009.

  15. Brabham BT23C [10] (Tony Dean): New to Malcolm Payne (Fakenham, Norfolk), replacing a McLaren M4A that he had raced in libre earlier in the year. Payne only raced the BT23C in a handful of libre races, and it was sold for 1969 to Garth McGillewie (Durban, South Africa) to be raced in the South African series as part of Team Parnell. It returned to England in September 1969 when bought by Tony Dean (Leeds, West Yorkshire) and was raced by him very successfully in libre racing until May 1970 when sold to Bobby Howlings (Congleton, Cheshire) who continued to race it in libre, as did Rod Pickering (Leicester) who bought it in August. Raced by Pickering until the end of 1971 then returned to Howlings who raced it briefly before selling it to Bob Snelson (Dunfermline?) who ran it in the Scottish Hill Climb championship in 1973. Last seen when advertised by Low Cost Racing complete with FVA in October 1973 as a potential Monoposto car. Subsequent history unknown.
  16. Brabham BT14 [FL-7-65] (Tony Barchou): Bought new by Jackie Epstein for 1965 and used in both Formule Libre (with a Ford twin cam) and Formula 2 (with a Cosworth SCA). Sold at the end of the season to Ian Raby (Brighton, Sussex) who raced it in November 1965 and then in F2 through 1966. Converted back to its Ford twin cam engine for 1967 and continued in F2 up to Zandvoort in July when Raby suffered the injuries from which he later died. The BT14 was rebuilt and Tony Barchou of Ian Raby Racing in 1968 and then, as a BT14/18, in rounds of the European F5000 series in 1969. Engine and transmission sold to Alan Jones and rolling chassis to Rob 'Tiny' Littler but he did not use it and eventually sold it to a collector in California. Nothing further known until a car with this claimed history owned by Don Orosco (Monterey, CA) c1995. Subsequently via John Zuppan (Portland, OR) and Jim Schnell (Seattle, WA) to Jonathan Burke (San Francisco, CA) early 2005.
  17. Brabham BT16 [F2-19-65] (Dave Berry): Jack Brabham's works SCA-engined BT16, used during the 1965 mid-season and also raced by Chris Irwin when the Honda project was revived. To Robs Lamplough (London) for 1966 and retained for 1967. To John Watson (Craigavad, County Down, Northern Ireland) for Irish racing in 1967 and fitted with a Lotus-Ford twin-cam. Retained for 1968. Sold to Dave Berry (Colwyn Bay, Wales) for 1969 and used in UK libre; then fitted with an Oldsmobile V8 for 1970, 1971 and 1972. Last seen in October 1972.

Motoring News 25 Sep 1969 p8. Tony Dean had his "latest acquisition, the ex-Malcolm Payne/Garth McGillewie F2 Brabham-FVA BT23C which Tony had picked up from South Africa". Apart from Millar's Brabham-BMW and Eden's Chevron-FVA, all the other 2-litre entries had twin-cam engines.
