Notes on the cars:

  1. Lola T60 [SL60/5] (Steve Thompson): Lola records show this as a red F3 car going to Frank Lythgoe. Then in F2 trim in libre in 1966 raced by Steve Thompson and retained by Thompson for F3 in 1967 and then libre and F2 with a 1.6-litre Ford twin-cam in 1968, 1969 and 1970. Hugely successful in libre racing in 1969. Then to Chris Featherstone to replace his original T60 which had been wrecked. With Peter Denty in 2003.
  2. Chevron B10 [F2.2] (Graham Eden): The second Chevron B10 was completed in July 1968 and raced by Bennett himself at a libre race before being sold to Mike MacDowel and Bob Jennings in August for hilllclimbs. They ran it until the end of the season but then bought a new Brabham BT30X and the Chevron was sold to Graham Eden who first used an oversized Ford twin-cam and then returned the car to FVA specification. It was upgraded to B17 specification for 1970 and at the end of that season passed to Bill Creasey and then on to Bob Ellice for the 1971 season. Ellice ran it in the new Formula Atlantic series with a twin-cam engine, entered by John Deuxberry.
  3. Lola T55 [SL64/1] (Tony Charnell): Driven by a variety of drivers for MRP in 1964 and 1965, then sold to Bill Jones for Phillip Robinson to drive in 1966. To Tony Charnell for 1967 and fitted with a 1.6-litre Ford twin-cam; retained In 1968 and 1969. Later with Ted Dzierzek for Scottish hill climbs in 1971.
  4. Brabham BT16 [F2-19-65] (Dave Berry): Jack Brabham's works SCA-engined BT16, used during the 1965 mid-season and also raced by Chris Irwin when the Honda project was revived. To Robs Lamplough for 1966 and retained for 1967. To John Watson for Irish racing in 1968 and fitted with a Lotus-Ford twin-cam. Then to Dave Berry in 1969 and retained until 1971.

Motoring News 25 Sep 1969 p8. Tony Dean had his "latest acquisition, the ex-Malcolm Payne/Garth McGillewie F2 Brabham-FVA BT23C which Tony had picked up from South Africa". Apart from Millar's Brabham-BMW and Eden's Chevron-FVA, all the other 2-litre entries had twin-cam engines.
