Notes on the cars:

  1. Brabham BT23 [2] (Vittorio Brambilla): Denis Hulme's regular 1967 F2 Brabham is identified as BT23-2 by Autosport (18 Aug 1967 274) where it mentions that the car has now gone to Mick Mooney in Ireland. It appears that this is a mistake - Jack's BT23-1 had gone to Mooney for driver Tommy Reid. At Keimola, Autosport (8 Sep 1967 p414) says Gardner is driving BT23-2.

Individual sources for this event

Autosport (25 Jun 1970 p19) crammed their report into a corner but did mention that Jolly Club had the ex-Guthrie 1969 BT30 for Gagliardi ('suitably modified to comply with this year's rules') and Scuderia Brescia Corse had the ex-Facetti Tecno 68 for Benedini. Salvati had a works Tecno for his F2 debut (he won) and Frey's Tecno was described as a Tecno 69 on this occasion.
