Oil drilling equipment supplier, whose money earnt from this venture led to a brief but successful Formula 1 foray. Still has numerous business interests, including car tuning, automobiles - he at one time commissioned Gianpaolo Dallara to create a Lamborghini high-power vehicle called the Countach - and tobacco and still has a keen interest in motor racing. Wolf was of Yugoslav descent maternally and grew up in Maribor, now in Slovenia. Wolf also had an aftershave in his name at one time and was also politically connected to former Canadian Prime Ministers Brian Mulroney and Pierre Trudeau. Wolf now lives in British Columbia, here he lives on a large ranch which is a working ranch trading in hay and cattle. He also has an interest in Downs Syndrome charities as his daughter was born with the condition. Before he found wealth, Walter worked as a lift engineer, pilot and diver. Wolf has been in poor health in recent years with heart problems and three strokes, but remains spry and does as much as he can.
