Longtime manager of the ART racing team, Vasseur oversaw most of the current or recent grid during his tutelage of guiding the teams successes. Amongst those who have driven - and often won - for him include Lewis Hamilton, Rosberg, Vettel, Grosjean, Bottas, Vandoorne, Bianchi, di Resta, Kobayashi, Maldonado, Buemi, Gutierrez and Giedo van der Garde. Frederic also runs Spark Technologies which buils the entire Formula E grid and Vasseur also founded AOTech, which is an engineering company. Vasseur originally got into racing in 1996, running his own team - ASM - in Formula 3 and the Formula 3 Euroseries. In 2016, he was in charge of the Renault team but left them early in 2017 to concentrate on his businesses. He returned to Formula 1 in 2017 as the team boss of Sauber which is now Alfa Romeo and after establishing himself there, he moved to Ferrari in 2023 as their new team principal.
