Born:

01 Jul 1958
Wandsworth, London

Nationality:

Great Britain

Teams:

Pacific (1994-1995)

Initially started in the sport as a kart racer before becoming a design engineer in Formula 3 and Formula 2. Then founded his Pacific team who did brilliantly in lower formulae but miserably in F1. Wiggins then spent some time as President of Lola Cars International in America. Wiggins stayed in America, where he remains, initially as team owner of Herdez, but then joined up with the rebadged Minardi Champ Car team as a consultant, before becoming HVM team boss again. He moved the team, under a different guise, to the IRL. HVM then became part of the Andretti concern, but the team no longer exists in any racing form, but Keith runs a design and engineering concern, which currently undertakes some military projects. Keith now has business interests in the construction and building industries, but is a motorsport team consultant to keep his involvement in the sport and is also involved in the official F1 2-seater project as a team manager. In 2022, he became the operations manager for the revived Van Diemen team in America.
