Popular driver who combined running his own team and driving for years. Has run teams in CART, Grand-Am and the IRL (the last with Aguri Suzuki), but he disbanded his team for good at the end of 2009. No longer racing, as he has gone into driver management. Until 2013, he was manager of Sergio Perez, a close family friend. In 2016, Adrian took over management of fellow Mexican racer Esteban Gutierrez. Adrian is now also involved with business and community projects in Tijuana. As a driver, Adrian won the 2009 ALMS LMP2 Class title, the 1991 Mexican Formula 3 series and 11 races in CART or the IRL. However Adrian actually started racing as long ago as 1971 in motocross.
