Killed in qualifying for Indianapolis. Easily Phillippines' greatest driver, he picked up the racing bug from his dad who raced at an amateur level. He raced in Asia, Europe and the US - winning the 1991 Toyota Atlantic Championship. A prize in his name, in that series, for drivers is still awarded every year.
