Kyffin is of joint Barbadian-Cayman nationality. He made the graduation to Indycar in 2024, after racing in Indy Lights in 2022 and 2023, taking two podiums and one pole position along the way. He previously appeared in the Formula Regional Americas championship winning the 2021 in some style. He has also raced in European Le Mans Series, Asian Le Mans series and IMSA. He is the nephew of Ward Simpson, an automobile distributor, who is also now a presenter and executive on the religious God TV channel. Kyffin's grandfather, Sir Kyffin Simpson, established the family automotive concern.
