Mike won the Britcar European title in 2008 with son Anthony, and continued to race in that series for a while, repeating his title feat in 2013. In 2015, he moved into the Endurance Racing Series in Britain. In 2016, Mike took his fourteenth racing title, winning the Britcar Class 2 Endurance Championship, again, with his son Anthony. In 2017, he was again in Britcars, but in 2021, he was an array of series in the UK. More recently, he has focused on historic racing. He is also a trained helicopter pilot and instructor and Mike is also a racing instructor (he won instructor of the year in 2018), running his Mike Wilds Performance Driving Tuition racing school. Now lives on the South Coast of England and enjoys sailing.
