Colossal talent killed in Graham Hill's airplane crash on a golf course near Elstree. His F3 performances in particular had earmarked him for greatness. He was also working as an oil exporter at the time of his untimely passing. Brise, the son of a pig farmer, started karting in 1960 at the age of 8, and in 1969 won the British Karting Championship, before winning Formula Ford and Formula 3 titles prior to his Formula 1 debut.
