Died recently in Missouri. Despite being an octogenarian, he kept himself busy, working with cars. Worked for a long time as a mechanic at Indianapolis, before becoming a research development machinist for famous recluse Howard Hughes. He then became a technicial official for USAC, which qualified him for the Indy Old Timers Club, in which he was involved up to his mid-80's.
