Real name was actually Ainslie. George was predominately a racing mechanic for the Lozier company in the early 1910's, often for its racers, Harold Van Gorder or Joe Horan. He relieved the latter in the 1912 Indianapolis 500 for a short while whilst Horan had a break before settling back into his riding mechanic role. Ainslee later worked as a car mechanic.
