Trans-Am champion in 1984 and won the North American Formula Atlantic title in 1979, Tom also raced in IMSA, winning at Mid-Ohio in 1988 with Geoff Brabham. Became a very successful team owner, constructor and advisor. His cars were in the IRL, Champ Cars, the IMSA sportscar series and Trans-Am. Now works as a consultant to teams in the US and on several other projects, and lives in Nevada, where he enjoys playing golf and racing and dabbling with hotrods.
